Home business focus

Mists at "Aristida"

I'm sympathetic for anyone who is struggling to retain or obtain, work. I also have a lot of empathy for seniors. Why?

Because I know how difficult it can be to maintain an income, and I know the difficulties that many people have in their senior years to maintain their "usefulness" to society, and their self-worth and self-esteem.

There will be many people who will struggle to have sufficient retirement income, and in today's volatile employment market, there is no such thing as job security - no matter what anyone else tells you.

Have you noticed in the last 15 or 20 years that seniors are being silently, stealthily, pushed along a path of greater self-sufficiency, and towards greater, if not total, independence of government retirement income support?

This may not be such a bad thing in some ways, for it allows people to be released, to be free, of support mechanisms that can become a controlling feature of their lives. But many will not cope so well. They need these support systems, particularly in these times of steeply rising costs.

Then there are all the other people in society (younger and older) who might be wracked by debt, ballooning mortgages, escalating costs of living, and everyday expenses. It can be tough, really tough!

So, what has all this got to do with you and your future?

There might just be a way around these dependency and debt traps.

Your Creative Edge

Every person has a creative side, but in general this feature is obscured by individual circumstance and not knowing how to tap into creative juices.

THE FOCUS at NTHB is about using your skills and knowledge, and using your experiences to forge a new future, and to create a new time for yourself.

If you're over 50, you're what's called a "senior"; and if you believe what governments are saying you'll be working for another 15 to 20 years after you have your 50th birthday. Don't be alarmed by this, embrace it ... but be creative about how you can best handle this. This is a great opportunity! It's your time to flourish.

If you're younger than 50, and you're yearning for something different and challenging, then a part-time home business based on your skill-set and knowledge might just be the boost you need, both in terms of additional income and self-satisfaction.

For the over-50's and the under-50's - it doesn't matter - this is the main purpose of New Times Home Biz.

Are You Ready For A Home Business?

THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF NTHB is also to give you the tools and the confidence to have a good crack at creating an online business by WRITING and selling the very best things you know about, and at the same time becoming a respected online business operator.

Becoming a success online can also be transferred to the offline business world, where there are many other opportunities that could be waiting for you; they just need to be uncovered.

If you've been online for any amount of time, and have been searching for ways to make another income, ask yourself ... "has it been worth the effort?" The Internet is littered with failures, but it also has some fabulous successes. If you have had some success, congratulations and keep on going. But if you haven't, then maybe it's time to back yourself, to trust in yourself, and to develop a business around what you already know.

Write about it. Create. Provide solutions. Sell. Help others. Reap the rewards.

If such a venture interests you, or you know somebody else who may benefit from this, then why not join the eBiz EYE newsletter list.
